5 Minute Makeup Routine

Being a full-time college student I find that time and sleep are both precious. Therefore having a quick everyday makeup routine is perfect for days when I don’t have much time in the morning. These are the 5 steps I take to complete my full everyday makeup look in just 5 minutes.

Step 1: Conceal

For my everyday makeup, I tend to skip foundation and go straight to concealer. I find that this keeps my skin clearer and saves me A LOT of time that I would have spent blending. My favorites are the Tarte Shape Tape in the shade light-medium honey and the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in the shade light.

Step 2: Blush

After concealer, I like to apply blush to bring a little bit of color and warmth back to the skin. My all-time favorite blush for the fall is the Bella Pierre cosmetics mineral blush in the shade Autumn Glow. This blush is super warm toned and luminous so it gives the skin a natural glow without having to apply a highlight.

Pro tip:  if you brush your blush over the tip of your nose and eyelids is will make your makeup look more cohesive and natural.

Step 3: Brows

Eyebrows shape the entire face so filling them in is essential for me. For an everyday look, I like to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow-Wiz in the shade soft brown.

Step 4: Mascara

Mascara helps me look more awake. My all-time favorite is the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Volume Mascara in the shade 01 Black.

Step 5: Lips

Applying a lip color can add some color back into the face and make you look more lively overall. For a minimal makeup look, I like to use the Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Gloss in the shade Milkshake.
